Long-Term Nursing Care in Lake St. Louis

Choosing long-term nursing care means choosing a place to call home. At Cottages of Lake St. Louis, we bring ongoing nursing care and daily support into welcoming ten-person homes, where every resident has a private bedroom and a private bathroom with a shower.

Nursing Support for Everyday Life

When someone needs ongoing nursing care or help with daily activities, comfort and personal attention matter. Our team works with residents and their families to understand care needs, preferences, and routines.

Nursing care is available around the clock, with assistance tailored to each resident’s needs. We encourage residents to participate in everyday life and make choices about their day.

Recognized for Quality

Rated High Performing in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care by U.S. News & World Report, 2026.

A Home You Can See, Feel and Smell

Each cottage has a real kitchen where meals are prepared, a shared dining table, and comfortable living spaces. The aroma of cooking, conversation around the table, and familiar faces help make daily life feel like home.

Residents can spend time with others, welcome family, or enjoy the privacy of their own room. Patios, gardens, and gathering spaces offer more ways to enjoy the day.

Your Own Room and Bathroom

Every resident has a private bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, including a shower and toilet. There is no need to share a bedroom or bathroom with another resident.

Personal belongings and familiar touches help residents make their space their own.

Small Homes, Personal Connections

Cottages of Lake St. Louis opened in 2017 as Missouri’s first standalone Green House Project community. Our six cottages each welcome ten residents, creating opportunities for caregivers to know the people they support.

Our approach values each person’s history, relationships, preferences, and independence alongside their care needs.

Planning for Long-Term Care

Our admissions team can discuss care needs, availability, current rates, and what to expect when moving into a cottage. Long-term residency is offered on a private-pay basis.

If you are unsure whether short-term rehabilitation or long-term nursing care is the right fit, we can help you understand the options available at Cottages.
